How it works

Step 1

AI transcribes

Audio is extracted to 16 kHz mono and sent to our AI speech engine. It returns every word with a timestamp, per-word confidence, and the detected language.

Step 2

Optional AI clean-up

Turn on correction and an AI language model fixes punctuation, casing, and misheard terms per segment - especially useful for Urdu, Hindi, and Pashto.

Step 3

Edit words = edit video

Click a word to seek to it. Delete a word and the render skips that exact range - cut filler, mistakes, and pauses by editing text. Undo with Cmd/Ctrl-Z.

Code-switch mode

For videos that switch languages mid-sentence, each pause-delimited chunk is transcribed in its own auto-detected language, then merged.

Delete-word-cuts-video

Removing a word marks its time range as a cut; the exported MP4 skips it. Add the word back and the cut is undone.
